We deliver a wide range of products, from test pieces to development and mass-produced items, for a wide range of industries by applying our manufacturing expertise and technical capabilities accumulated over our more than 60 years of manufacturing and working with composites. In particular, our manufacturing expertise and technical capabilities are demonstrated by our track-record in working with products having a high degree of difficulty. This page introduces several products that represent our experience in each field as a company that has been involved in producing structural components as far back as the Tower of the Sun for the Osaka World Exposition and more recently for the Hayabusa 2 artificial satellite.

  • Industrial Machinery

    Industrial Machinery

As one example of a product with a high degree of difficulty, we successfully manufactured a 3 m long CFRP precision structural component for a piece of IoT industrial machinery that requires high precision and low thermal expansion. We operate our own large autoclave with a diameter of 3.5 m and a length of 6 m, and a large machining center with a gate width of 3.5 m and a table length of 6 m. Enabling us to handle the entire process up to high-precision processing of large products on our own set of equipment, both of these machines supported our success in this case. Although CFRP containing oriented fibers is difficult to process, we achieve high machining precision by applying our unique processing expertise.

  • Aerospace Equipment

    Aerospace Equipment

After receiving JIS Q 9100:2004 certification in 2006 we began full-scale manufacturing of aircraft parts. Following our earliest work of mass-producing wing components for overseas aircraft manufacturers in this field, we expanded the business to include artificial satellite parts manufacturing. Since this time we have manufactured a variety of satellite components, notably for “Hayabusa.” Today, we manufacture solar panels for large satellites, as well as handle all stages of artificial satellite structural members, from parts manufacturing to the adhesion assembly process. With four clean rooms, we maintain the facilities and systems to meet the unique quality control requirements for aerospace products.

  • Electromagnetic Wave Application Equipment

    Electromagnetic Wave Application Equipment

We have a broad track-record in delivering products for applications that utilize the superior electromagnetic wave transmission characteristics of GFRP, including large terrestrial radomes, as well as products for aircraft, onboard-use (specialized vehicles), and shipping vessels. Our products are unique in that we produce them by identifying the ideal form using simulations that employ sophisticated electromagnetic wave propagation analysis technologies, which we then combine with structural analysis. We look forward to receiving inquiries about your requirements and challenges.

  • Automobiles

    Automobiles

We manufacture aerodynamic parts for automobiles. Given our understanding that these products prioritize appearance, we deliver high-quality parts produced by expert craftsmanship through all stages of the process, from mold design and production, to CFRP molding, processing, and painting, based on the drawings we receive from our customers. We can also provide functions by applying our expertise in resin development. One such example is a weather-resistant aerodynamic part that is designed to reduce visual deterioration caused by ultraviolet rays. We can address our customers’ requests for small-run production to mass-production.

  • Drones

    Drones

The CFRP drone airframes that we manufacture utilize an original monocoque body. In addition, we realize the industry’s lightest weights by using our own in-house developed foam cores. By fully utilizing the properties of these materials, we have enabled lighter, larger drone airframes than ever before. We provide one-stop support tailored to our customers’ requirements through all stages of the process, from CFRP layer design to structural analysis, molding, processing, and painting.

  • Electronics

    Electronics

In our efforts to commercialize CFRP electronics cases, we applied our in-house developed resins to overcome issues related to high fire retardance, heat resistance, and mass-productivity, and thereby enabled mass-production. We also achieved production levels of 10,000 laptop computer cases per line per month using fully automated CFRP molding processes and rapid-curing resins, both of which we developed in-house. In order to achieve further weight reductions, we also work with electronics case prototypes that utilize foam cores.

  • Art

    Art

We combine master craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies to manufacture modeled products made of CFRP and GFRP. We produced the “Face of the Sun” on the Tower of the Sun, the symbol of the 1970 Osaka World Exposition, and carts for world-famous theme parks. Our goal is to help achieve richer lifestyles by utilizing the lightweight, high-strength, durable, free-form, and other characteristics of composites.

  • Medical and Nursing Care Devices

    Medical and Nursing Care Devices

We have manufactured X-ray equipment, including CT beds and mammography devices, that take advantage of the X-ray transmission characteristics of CFRP. The presence of foreign matter and deflection under load, which interfere with X-ray transmission, risk having a negative impact on the diagnosis accuracy achieved by these devices. We produce high-quality products with little deflection by utilizing our own clean rooms, which provide us with a clean manufacturing environment, and by selecting the right type of carbon fiber and optimizing the orientation of the fibers based on our expertise in rigidity design technology.
